New So the rumors have been confirmed. The CW has given the green light for the "Sex and the City" prequel "The Carrie Dairies."

This novel by Candace Bushnell follows Carrie Bradshaw during her senior year of high school. And we can't wait to see what lucky actresses will step into the Manolos and Jimmy Choos that Sarah Jessica Parker made oh so famous.

A few actresses come to mind when I think of a young Carrie Bradshaw.
Already a rising young, up and coming fashion icon, Elizabeth Olsen might be a perfect fit for the role. There's already been positive Hollywood chatter about her acting in the upcoming feature "Martha Marcy May Marlene."

Although Dianna Agron might be graduating from McKinley High School soon but she might make a quick turnaround or transfer and become the future fashionista at another school. Dianna is by far my favorite pic to play the role of Carrie.

And of course, lots of eyes are on Emma Roberts. Although everyone has been pinning her down as playing the role of Miranda, I think she would make a great Carrie. She already has her looks down with the blonde locks, great fashion sense and she can definitely act!
