Opinions vary on this topic, I mean to say Shooter & Shots. Many combine the two terms into any alcohol-based drink under 3 ounces. However, almost everyone will agree that both are meant to be consumed quickly.
Shots are made solely out of alcoholic contents, served in small glasses that typically hold 1 to 1.5 ounces. Straight shots of liquor (typically tequila, whiskey and vodka) are served in a shot glass. Shots do not include non-alcoholic mixers. Some examples would be Buttery Nipples (butterscotch schnapps and coffee liqueur), shots of tequila and B-52s (orange liqueur, Irish cream and coffee liqueur). And shooter is a mini cocktail
